Dr. Iliana Pantelidou was admitted in 2000 following national examinations to the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated in 2006 with Honors, first among the graduates. She completed her field service at the General Hospital of Lefkada in 2008. She then worked as a Scientific Associate at the 4th Department of Pathology of the University of Athens, “Attikon” General Hospital, where she participated in a series of research programs and projects (Prof. E. Giamarellou). She specialized in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Elefsina “Thriasio” (2009-2014).

At the same time, she prepared her PhD thesis on the topic: “Pathogenesis of Klebsiella pneumoniae infections: Comparison of virulence between susceptible and multi-resistant strains and implications for antimicrobial therapy”, which she completed in 2014 with honors. She then worked as a Scientific Associate at the Department of Immunology of Infections of the 4th Department of Internal Medicine of the University of Athens, “Attikon” General Hospital. In 2015, she began working in a large private clinic as an external collaborator and then as a Senior Curator and as Deputy Director of the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine. Since 2024, she has been working as the Director of the Department of Internal Medicine of the Medical Psychiatry. She has also maintained a private practice in Athens since 2016.

She has published articles in international scientific journals after a crisis, as well as numerous papers in international and Greek scientific conferences.

She has volunteered as a trainer in the Advanced and Basic Life Support seminars of the European Resuscitation Council. She is a member of the Greek Sepsis Study Group since 2008.
