Athens Medical Center: 23rd Voluntary Blood Donation

The Athens Medical Center is organizing on Thursday and Friday, February 15 and 16, the 23rd Voluntary Blood Donation of the Hospital’s employees, in collaboration with the Athens General Hospital “G. Gennimatas”.

Voluntary blood donation is a very important act of solidarity and humanity. Blood donation can save lives and help people in need. Due to the reduced voluntary offering and the increased needs that are presented, the contribution of all of us is essential. For this purpose, the Athens Medical Center and its employees are inviting the general public to participate, in order to maximize the benefits of the action.

The Athens Medical Group will provide all the necessary safety and hygiene measures for blood collection in accordance with the instructions of the National Blood Donation Organization. Volunteers who will participate in blood donation will undergo a health check before blood collection and all necessary sterilization and distancing measures will be observed for their safety.

Date: Thursday – Friday 15 & February 16
