Strategic collaboration between Athens International Airport and the Athens Medical Group to conduct diagnostic testing for COVID-19 at the airport -from August 5-
Athens International Airport and the Athens Medical Center are joining forces in the context of addressing the coronavirus pandemic, in order to offer to the passenger public, as well as to the airport employee community, the possibility of diagnostic testing, Molecular Detection (rRT – PCR).
From August 5, 2020, daily from 07:00 to 23:00, arriving or departing passengers and any employee at the airport, may, if they so wish, come for examination at the facilities created by the Athens Medical Center at Athens International Airport (Arrivals Level, between entrances 2 & 3). The result of the test will be communicated to the test subjects on the same day* after the sample is taken.
The price for the test is 60€ for the passenger public.
*The response time may vary depending on the time of sampling, or the existence of an increased number of samples.
