Athens Medical Group, recognizing the importance of the disease and remaining true to its commitment to leading developments, has invested, once again, in cutting-edge technology. The unique in Greece, new certified Robotic Hybrid Surgery Center – “PROMETHEUS”, a new generation Discovery IGS 740 by GE Healthcare, has made Athens Medical Center a reference point for the treatment of complex cardiac and vascular cases, at a pan-European level.

- Possibility of performing interventions with bloodless access from the patient’s vessels.
- It combines preoperative CT angiography with digital imaging (fusion technique) and helps in navigation during fluoroscopy, dramatically reducing the radiation dose, as well as the amount of contrast agent the patient receives.
- It allows CT angiography to be performed during the operation, which ensures the immediate correction of any problem before the end of the operation.
