PRESS RELEASE | The Athens Medical Group is close to the affected with humanitarian aid
The Athens Medical Group, standing by the side of our fellow citizens who are being tested by the devastating floods, sent humanitarian aid.
Specifically, on Monday, September 18, loads of beds, mattresses and pillows arrived in Karditsa to meet the basic needs of our fellow citizens.
The above loads of humanitarian aid were delivered to His Eminence Metropolitan of Thessaly and Fanariofersala, Mr. Timotheos.
After receiving the aid, His Eminence stated:
“We received the humanitarian aid that the Athens Medical Group sent us and includes beds, mattresses and pillows. The material will be distributed in our villages and wherever else there is a relative need so that people can return to their homes and sleep in them.
Humanitarian contribution and the feeling of solidarity are integral parts of the culture of the Athens Medical Group. Ethic, integrity and professionalism characterize all the staff of the Group and especially its founder, President Dr. George Apostolopoulos.
We express our heartfelt thanks for this humanitarian offer of love and hope that it will become an example to follow.»
The CEO of the Athens Medical Group Dr. Vasilis Apostolopoulos, referring to the aid shipment, stated:
“The shipment of this aid constitutes a minimal sign of support to our fellow citizens suffering from the disaster. Our Group will stand firmly by the side of the flood victims.”
