A pioneering, for Greek standards, seminar was organized on 2 days, 15 & 16 September in Athens by the Osteon Orthopedic & Spine Clinic in collaboration with the Athens Medical Group. The first Osteon Ortho & Spine Course included 46 lectures, 32 practice tables with the most modern and minimally invasive techniques in the shoulder, knee and spine joints. In addition, 5 sections of case discussions were held, which concerned from the most common to the most unusual orthopedic diseases. Young orthopedic surgeons, spine surgeons and neurosurgeons had the opportunity to be trained by experienced, both in Greece and abroad, qualified scientists.

In two days, theoretical and practical training were combined simultaneously, said Mr. Christos Apostolopoulos, Executive Vice President of the Athens Medical Group, speaking of a “pioneering seminar for Greek standards”, which provided the opportunity for young surgeons, orthopedics and neurosurgeons to be trained by experienced and renowned colleagues both in Greece and internationally. “The Athens Medical Group has repeatedly proven its commitment to both the education of young doctors and the application of innovative and modern techniques”, underlined Mr. Chr. Apostolopoulos.
