Visit of Romanian doctors to the “Heart Center” of the Inter-Balkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki
The two-day visit of Romanian doctors to the Interbalkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki was completed with complete success, in order to inform them about the leading services provided by the “Heart Center” of our Hospital.
The medical team, consisting of Cardiologists, Internists, Family Physicians & General Practitioners, Associate Physicians of the “Medsana” Diagnostic Center and a small group from other structures in Romania, met with medical teams from the Inter-Balkan Medical Center with whom they exchanged views on key issues of modern Cardiology – Cardiac Surgery. During their visit, they were informed about all the latest developments in the fields of Endoscopic Cardiac Surgery, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology and Cardiac Imaging by the renowned scientists of the Inter-Balkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki. Antonios Pitsis, Cardiac Surgeon, Mr. Vlasis Ninios, Interventional Cardiologist, Mr. Antonios Antoniadis, Cardiologist – Arrhythmialogist and Ms. Konstantina Mitrousi, Cardiologist – specialist in Cardiovascular Imaging.
The mission, as well as the scientific meeting, was organized by the International Patients Center of the Athens Medical Group with the aim of informing the medical community of Medsana, as well as that of Romania, about the quality and scope of services provided at the Interbalkan Medical Center of Thessaloniki.
