Athens Medical Center: 18th Employee Voluntary Blood Donation
Athens, September 8, 2021 – The Athens Medical Center is organizing the 18th Voluntary Blood Donation of Hospital Employees on Thursday 9 & Friday 10 September 2021, in collaboration with the Athens General Hospital “G. Gennimatas”.
The 18th voluntary blood donation was planned to be carried out on two (2) consecutive dates, strictly following the precautionary measures to avoid concurrency of volunteer blood donors.
Due to the reduced voluntary supply and the increased needs that are presented, the contribution of all of us is important. For this purpose, the Athens Medical Center and its employees extend an invitation to the participation of the general public, in order to maximize the benefits of the action. The Athens Medical Group emphasizes, that in all Hospital Blood Donation Services, as well as in mobile blood donation teams, all necessary measures are taken to avoid the spread of the SARS – CoV – 2 virus and to protect the health of blood donors.
Blood Donation Dates: Thursday, September 9, 2021 & Friday, September 10, 2021
Location: Athens Medical Center, Distomou 1-3, Conference Room – Building E
Hours: 12:00 – 17:00.
