Athens Medical Group is proud to be the “Official Medical Supporter” of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee
The Athens Medical Group stands as a proud “Official Medical Partner” of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee (HPC), providing full medical support to the Greek female and male athletes of the Pre-Paralympic and Paralympic Team who will represent our country at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, as well as to the members of the Executive Committee of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee.
The collaboration of the Athens Medical Group with the Greek Paralympic Committee lies in the comprehensive offer of medical coverage with diagnostic and medical examinations, surgical procedures and hospitalizations, and in any medical needs and incidents that may arise throughout the athletes’ preparation during the Paralympic Games.

The undertaking of health coverage for Pre-Paralympic and Paralympic athletes is yet another action that reflects the philosophy of the group, which places people and society at the center of its efforts.
On the occasion of the assumption of the crucial role of Athens Medical Group, as the “Official Medical Partner” of the Greek Paralympic Committee, the CEO of Athens Medical Group, Dr. Vasilis Apostolopoulos, stated, among other things: “We feel particularly
proud of the top Greek athletes with disabilities who will represent our country at the Paralympic Games in Paris. The Athens Medical Group considers it a self-evident obligation to stand, now and in the future, by the side of people who fight and conquer peaks, representing Greece worthily, and from whose example we draw inspiration, optimism and strength. We wholeheartedly wish all our athletes good luck, we will always be here to support their struggles, making Greece proud.”

For his part, the President of the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, Mr. George Kapellakis, also stated: “In the difficult effort we are making to ensure the greatest possible representation of Greece at the Paris Paralympic Games, aiming to support our athletes to the fullest extent in order to make all Greeks proud, the Hellenic Paralympic Committee offers another important support to our athletes. From today, we will have the Athens Medical Group by our side. For the Hellenic Paralympic Committee, the cooperation with the largest Medical Group in Greece is very important with the prospect of continuing for many years to come, and I would like to personally thank Dr. Vasilis Apostolopoulos, who is close to us and whom we now consider a member of our team.”
