Athens Medical Group: for the 4th year Official Medical Supporter of the “EKO Rally Acropolis 2024”
The Athens Medical Group, for the fourth consecutive year, was the “Official Medical Partner” of the EKO Rally Acropolis 2024, the tenth round of the FIA World Rally Championship, which took place from 5 to 8 September, with the ceremonial start taking place in front of the Panhellenic Exhibition of Lamia.
The “Rally of the Gods” is one of the largest international events held in our country, and the Athens Medical Group provided full medical support, having 16 fully equipped ambulances, manned by 32 rescuers and 9 doctors.

More specifically, the cooperation of the Athens Medical Group with the Organizing Committee of the EKO Rally Acropolis 2024, provided for full medical coverage, transportation and first aid in emergencies that may arise, for all participants in the event, throughout the race thus meeting the international safety standards of the World Federation.

On the occasion of the Athens Medical Group taking over as the “Official Medical Supporter” of the EKO Rally Acropolis 2024, the CEO of the Athens Medical Group, Dr. Vasilis G. Apostolopoulos, stated, among other things: “The Athens Medical Group, the only Greek health group in our country, actively participated for another year in the biggest celebration of motorsports. This year marks 40 years since the founding of the Athens Medical Group and it was a special honor for us to be an integral part of this global event, which promotes our country internationally.”
