Extension of the concession of Medical Dovecote to the Ministry of Health for the month of April for the treatment of Covid-19 patients – The Group’s total assistance in Attica is 200 beds.
Athens March 30, 2021 – Given the ongoing pressure on the health system in Attica, due to the pandemic, the Athens Medical Group, always helpful to the calls of society and the state, decided to extend the availability of the Peristeri Medical Center until 30/4/2021 for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
The Peristeri Hospital is currently the most complete and modern private infrastructure that has been granted by the private sector to the Ministry of Health in the fight against the pandemic, since it is granted with all its infrastructure, its equipment (intensive care unit, CT scanner, etc.) and all its administrative, medical and nursing staff.
During the three-week period in March, which was granted to the Ministry of Health, it hospitalized 126 Covid-19 patients (Hospital Beds and ICU Beds) and became a strong ally of the health system in the fight against coronavirus.
It is recalled that the total number of beds that the Athens Medical Group in Attica has made available to the Ministry of Health is 200 and is distributed as follows:
