COMMENTARY ON PUBLICATIONS – ANSWER TO A QUESTION FROM THE CAPITAL MARKET COMMITTEE
The company with the name “ATHENS MEDICAL COMMERCIAL SOCIETY ANONYME” (hereinafter the “Company”), informs the investing public of the following: Regarding today’s publications that appeared in the electronic press and refer to an alleged agreement for the acquisition of the Company by a foreign fund and/or an imminent public offer for exit from Euronext Athens, the Company, following information received from its main shareholders, declares that the said publications are untrue and have absolutely no basis. The Company remains committed to transparent, timely and equal information of the investing public and whenever there are business developments that require disclosure in accordance with the applicable legislative framework, it proceeds with any necessary disclosure of privileged information, always complying with capital market law.
This update is made in accordance with article 17 of Regulation (EU) 596/2014 (MAR) and following a relevant question from the Capital Market Commission.
